Excellent news! The wonderful Larry Richman has informed us that Lost Dream will be having its red carpet premiere at the NewFilmmakers LA festival on May 7, 2009. On the film, producer Mae Nekoba had this to say:

“When casting our two leads we found two of the most impressive up-and-coming actors in the city,” said producer Mae Nekoba, referring to Welch and Sipos. Writer/director Asif Ahmed conceived Lost Dream while attending college. The original script served as his senior thesis, “and still reflects the alienation and youthful yearning so many young people experience during this period; all set against the universal themes of political, social, and personal evolution,” the filmmakers said in a statement.
